Return with us to the Old Testament where we’ll continue to study Israel’s ‘Kings and Prophets’.  We’ll watch God raise up a Gentile threat (Assyria) to Israel as its kings continue the spiritual descent begun by Jeroboam – compromising with idols and refusing to repent at the warnings of prophets Elijah and Elisha.  The second part of our study will reveal God’s heart for His people as we dig deep into the book of Hosea.
