In the beginning there was Barkef...ok, so that's not actually true, but he has been the senior pastor at Coppell Bible Fellowship since its conception. He is a graduate of Dallas Theological Seminary (1990) and received his doctorate from DTS in 2006. Barkef and his wife, Susie, both hail from Louisana and have 5 children. Barkef spends his time & energy in prayer, teaching and vision casting to create an infectious and God-honoring future for Coppell Bible Fellowship.

John oversees all care ministries at CBF and is also CBF’s counseling pastor. John and his wonderful wife, Sue, are the very proud parents of 5 and adore spending time with their precious grandson. David has a strong passion for worship and a strong desire to lead others in true worship as well as assisting in developing others to lead worship in various settings throughout the church.

Stewart’s passion is to share the love of Christ with the men in our community and encourage them to grow deeper in their walk with Christ. Sheryl’s passion is to encourage women as they grow in their understanding of God’s Word, who they are in Christ, and what it means to experience the blessing of living for the glory of God. She and her husband, Martin, have 3 children, are both native Texans and graduates of Texas A&M University. Sheryl is also an associate staff member of Entrust, a mission organization focused on equipping well trained leaders for every church in every culture, as a mentor in their Women to Women Ministry Training Project. As the director of Children's Director, Maggie is responsible for over-seeing all Children's activities at the church. Maggie originally hails from St. Louis, Missouri and moved to Texas to attend Dallas Theological Seminary 10 years ago. After 6 years of teaching, Maggie has re-entered the world of Children's Ministry. She is excited to see Christ work in the lives of the children of Coppell Bible Fellowhip. Marla is the Senior Pastor's Assistant and Director of Administration. She manages and organizes the church office, which basically means she does a little bit of everything and anything to support CBF. Marla hails from South Carolina (Go Gamecocks!) and after 17 years in the corporate world, entered full time ministry.
